Constance Whitney Warren
New Yorker Constance Whitney Warren married a French count, moved to France, divorced and became a sculptor. One of the first women sculptors to produce large scale bronzes, her brief 10-year artistic career was cut short by mental illness. Selection of the Claude Valsuani Foundry in Paris for the cast of W. S. Hart indicates high standards for the casting of her bronzes and dislike of contracts.
