Dalton blades have a wide distribution; from the east coast to the Rocky Mountains and from the Gulf Coast to Canada. Related identified types include; the Breckenridge, Colbert, Hardaway, Hardaway Sidenotched, Greenbrier, Nansemond, Sloan, Meserve and Tallahassee (Perino 1985).
