War Club -- The club is constructed of a stick handle attached to a rock head with a secure wrap of rawhide. Buckskin bands at the head and butt ends of the handle are decorated with black and white seed beads. There is a long streamer of hair attached to the butt end of the handle.
Many Plains tribes used stone-headed clubs in warfare. These clubs often had a wooden handle, which would attach to the stone head with rawhide thongs. The handles of war clubs were often decorated with beads or quills and hair.
