December 3rd, 1919. Mr. Jas. W. Bollinger, Putnam Building, Davenport, Iowa. My dear Judge: Your letter of November 29th received. We leave tonight for Minneapolis and unless something unforeseen turns up, Charlie will be with you by Saturday the 13th of December. I really think the prospects of seeing you again is half the pleasure of going east and I can imagine what a great time you two will have telling the men about your hunt. About the “fixin’” on the Mexican pictures. The man is carrying a blind over his arm. They use that to blindfold a pack mule sometimes when they are packing them. It makes them stand perfectly still as a rule. You will remember at Calgary they blindfold the bucking horses until they got their saddles on, but Charlie will explain that to you when you see him. With kindest regards, Sincerely,
