If you would urge him, when you go over, to send them ( the mutilated ones) to me to see if I could get them put together properly, I really am anxious to have the plaster casts in my hands, in order that I may see the ones that can be reproduced again and those that cannot be. The only way I will know is to have them here where I can look at them with my models that I have at home and, if you will, please look over all the bronze and don’t hesitate to tell them what is wronge [sic] because you know everything on those bronzes better than any human I am acquainted with.
