The closing date, Sept 20th, I kept a cheery fire going in the old fire place and was busy until late, mostly Great Falls people. The day was [illegible] A count of name registered disclosed rather startling facts. 12,300 were registered from 527 different town or cities; every state was represented, together[illegible] with six foreign countries. This is an increase over registration of the same [illegible][illegible] [illegible] a year ago of 50%. Montana is both registration and cities a town represented ^was just^ followed in order by California New York, Minnesota, and Illinois. [next] [page 2] minutes time to simply state that the “Lewis & Clark”, picture is not copyrighted by you and mail it directly to the Osborne Co. Can I secure creditable prints from any other source other than those published by the Osborne Co. The Brown and B[illegible] and Doubleday Doran. Co.?
