I have a client who might possibly be interested in buying a picture. I think on the order or your picture “Carson's Men". However, he has been buying paintings at a very low figure during the past few years and I think I could get him to pay $5,000.00 for Carson's Men but am positive he could not pay more. As I have nothing of this type and hearing that you are really think of disposing of your pictures, is the reason for this letter. If you are interested, I shall be happy to hear from you and will communicate with my client ac- cording t o your letters. It is heart breaking to know that many of Charlie' s beautiful pictures have sold at ridiculously low prices.
