From Churchill Mehard, Dec. 29, 1940, confirmation of sale of bronze to Britzman, also gives Britzman a letter written by Charles M. Russell and includes some explanatory notes concerning the letter; he speaks of Charles M. Russell's humor, depth of feeling, and sentiment, he also explains Charles M. Russell's childhood nickname of Mehard--"Hazel".
