Born 19 June 1815; died 4 March 1872. Arrived in New York (City), United States in 1837, and enlisted in the American Army. Arrived in Toronto; Canada ca. 1844. Krieghoff was specifically active in Longueuil; Lower Canada; now Québec, in 1847-8, Montréal; from 1849 to 1854; and Québec (City) ca. 1854 to 1865.
