Portrait; single-sided Primary: 0.365- 0.373 mm Secondary: 0.257- 0.260 mm Both supports are machine-made. The primary support is a light cream colored bristol paper. The painting is located on the textured size of support, smoother side on verso. The black secondary support is internally dyed, lighter and softer than the primary support (less sizing), and completely opaque in transmitted light.
