All three supports are machine-made, craft made materials. The primary support is a muted orange color, thinner than the secondary and tertiary supports, but more rigid (more sizing). The painting is located on the felt side of support; wire side on the verso. The secondary support is deep teal in color, internally dyed and the softest of the support; wire side facing up. The dark grey tertiary support is also internally dyed, with the wire side of support facing up.
