Portrait; one sided 0.233- 0.242 mm Machine-made, wove, cream in color. Artist grade quality. Surface dyed (original color papers to be a taupe, the recto has discolored to a warm light orange and the verso appears more cream with a green tint: dye transferred from previous secondary support. ) Distinct wire pattern and variation in fiber lengths visible in transmitted light (mechanical pulp). Painting is located on the felt side, wire side on verso.
