Jim Bridger / Charles Marion Russell

Curatorial Remarks

The title of this bronze is misspelled in the inscription; it reads "Jim Bridges", but should be "Jim Bridger." The signature has very raised edges that were pushed up in the wax model by the tool. The bottom is covered with sheet metal.

Information given by Ann Boulton Young, Associate Conservator for the Gilcrease Museum, 2018
