Essay/Description

This is a reference image scanned from an older transparency.

Gallery Label

A rather wild natured mustang who has run down a sloping hill and has paused in the act of jumping a gully at the end of the shape. It is this pause that I have tried to catch.

From the exhibition: Willard Stone: Following the Grain, 2016.
