Moore's Cottage was located in Philadelphia's Fairmount Park. It was named for the Irish poet Thomas Moore who visited Philadelphia in 1803, although there is no evidence he stayed in the cottage. Sandra Pauly, Henry Luce Foundation Curatorial Scholar for Moran Collection Research 3.3.22
