The primary support is dark cream, smooth Japan paper. Slightly mottled surface with clumped fibers in transmitted dight. The secondary support is slightly thicker, wove and off-white in color. The secondary support is softer and is has a NOT surface compared to the smooth surface of the Japan paper.
