Affidavit given by Snake Girty, a solicitor, stated that Jack Grass stole a sandy and black spotted barrow that was one year old from Ellis Moose. Barrow had two splits in each ear and was worth $6.00. The barrow was stolen sometime in the month of May. The affidavit was signed ᎢᎾᏓᏂᏴᎦ and was given before J. L. McCorkle. Warrant, on verso, by J. L. McCorkle for the arrest of Jack Grass to answer for the charge of stealing a barrow. Jury ruling stated that the jury agreed and found the prisoner not guilty. Folder 373
