Order issued by H. J. Vann to levy upon the property of J. M. Bryant to satisfy costs of $3.00 in his suit against Robert McDaniel

Scope and Content Notes

H. J. Vann was the clerk for the Canadian District of the Cherokee Nation. If there J. M. Bryant's property was not sufficient enough to settle the cost then the property of John T. Drew and J. A. Scales could be levied upon, as they were his securities. Pencil markings on recto indicate that the order was collected in full by the Dept. Sheriff. Folder 465
