Scope and Content Notes

William West was the Sheriff of the Canadian District of the Cherokee Nation. Fox Glass came before the judge and proved that the steer belonged to him and was stolen from him in the summer of 1882. The steer was now in the possession of James Munks. The judge order the steer to be returned. Folder 500
