W. M. West was the ex-Sheriff of the Canadian District of the Cherokee Nation. He was owed $200.00 for his services from May 15, 1882 to November 15, 1883. The estate account was sworn to and subscribed before Judge Stephen Hildebrand. Hildebrand was the Judge for the District Court of the Canadian District of the Cherokee Nation. Folder 517
