Scope and Content Notes

Black and white photograph of two Apache women. One seated under canvas lean-to with stove and cooking utensils wearing traditional cotton dress. The woman standing to right of lean-to is wearing a traditional buckskin two-piece dress with beads and Kiowa moccasins. Sign on pole reads "Groceries". "Hope (Apacha)" is written on the bottom, but it may be Chiizacaua in Southwest, Oklahoma.
