Black and white photograph of Osage group. Studio Setting. Mixture of whites and Osage. Osage in traditional clothing and caps. Written on front: "Second Delegation of Osage Indians to Lawrence, Kansas, 1874" Identification Information is listed from top left to bottom right: "Sam Bevenue, Ogese Capton, Isaac T. Gibson U.S. Ind Agt., Big Wolf, E. P. Smith Com. Ind. Affairs, Mo-Shom-Ko-She, E. Hoag Cent. Supt., Ok-On-Se-Was-Ka, Little Wolf, Jim Big Heart, Bill Mathews, Che-To-Pa, No-Po-Wal-La, Pawnee-No-Pashee Governor Jor, Ne-Kah-Ke-Pun-Na, Hard Rope, Paul Aken, Sah-Pe-Ke-Ah, Tah-He-Kah-He, Tally." Written on reverse: "This rare picture was loaned to me by the son of agent Gibson. I had it copied by Eastman Co. I regret that I gave the negative to a fellow in Pawhuska who was researching Osages - I requested ???? to give it to the Osage Council Museum, and he may have done so.
