Scope and Content Notes
Red Eagle depicts a courtship scene with both parties on horseback. The woman, in an elk tooth dress, rides a horse with a high cantle saddle, beaded saddle bags, and a martingale. The man in a cloth shirt, hair pipe breastplate, and painted hide leggings rides his paint horse carrying an eagle feather fan and bow case and quiver.
