Two documents regarding Cherokee National Council orders for paid provisions. The first is from the Cherokee Nation's Executive Office, entitled "An Act Making Appropriations for the Current and Contingent Expenses of the Indian Department and for Fulfilling Treaty Stipulations with Various Indian Tribes for the Fiscal Year ending June 30, 1902, and for Other Purposes" signed by Principal Chief W.C. Rogers on December 7, 1903, and T. Roosevelt on January 5, 1904. The second is Senate Bill No. 22, entitled "An act making an appropriation for the current and contingent expenses of the Cherokee Advocate and for other purposes for the fiscal year ending November 17, 1904" passed by the Senate and Council December 2nd, 1903, signed by W.C. Rogers December 4, 1903. Includes original envelope. Folder 56
