Stamped, "Acee Blue Eagle - - American Indian artist is known throughout the country for his charming ceremonial scene anf his delightful paintings of the wild horses, buffalo, and antelope of the southwestern plains. Tracing Indian symbols in the sandy hills near Anadarko, Oklahoma. marked the first steps of Blue Eagle in his fantastic climb from the obscure role of an Indian youngster to international fame as an Indian artist. His work is represented in numerous private collections and museums both in this country and abroad. Blue Eagle has been elected to the Indian "Hall of Fame" and the Who's Who of Outstanding Indians of the United States. He is also included in the Who's Who of American Artists, Who's Who of Oklahoma and the international Who's Who." on verso.
