Curatorial Remarks:
Means/Hodges Engraved (Suhm and Jelks 1962:104) quadripod vessel with seven concentric ticked lines with a greek cross motif in the center. Engraved meandering zones with cross-hatched background located on the vessel body. Cross-hatched area has red pigment. Surface is polished with an applique "tail". Direct rim, flattened lip, insloping neck, ovoid body and rounded base with four conical legs with rounded circular bottoms. 7.5YR4/1 Dark Gray 7.5R 4/8 Red (pigment).
