Effigy Bottle -- Effigy bottle (probably a turtle, but possibly a duck).

Curatorial Remarks

Engraved effigy bottle with everted rim and rounded lip. Curved neck, ovoid body and rounded circular base. Four panels of concentric circles interrupted by three appliqued notched ridges. One ridge comes down onto the shoulder. Vessel color 7.5YR 2.5/1 Black and 10R 5/6 Red.
