Bowl -- Medium sized bowl of polished brown ware with engraved scrolls, sun symbols on bottom of bowl
Curatorial Remarks:
Natchidoches Engraved (Suhm and Jelks 1962:113) bowl with notched rim with a single engraved line with notches. Direct rim and rounded lip. The conical body has a complicated engraved design with a meandering ticked line and hatched zoned background. Base is flat and circular. 10YR4/2 Very Dark Grayish Brown.
