Incised, Copper-covered Stone Earspool. Much of the copper surface has worn away.
This is a pulley earspool because of its “distinct inner and outer flanges, which are separated by a core.” Through various representations in engravings and effigy forms, earspools are known to have adorned the ears of Mississippian warriors.
