Curatorial Remarks

Small coiled clothing basket. The devil's claw on bottom of the basket indicates that it's Western Apache, not Jicarilla or Mescolero. The rod construction of the coils indicates that it's not Pima or Papago. Signs of cattail cannot be identified.
