Carved wooden peyote drumstick

Loop drumstick with carved head covered in hide and cloth
Native American Church drumstick / Unknown
Curatorial Remarks
It is very unusual to see a drumstick with this much beadwork and a fringe at the end of it. This beadwork is similar to what would be found on a rattle. This serrated design is ideal for round beadwork such as this.
