Religious medals and medallions attached to a crucifix / Dominic Daniels

Curatorial Remarks

The peyote bag that is attached to the crucifix would have held a chief peyote. This object is a symbolic fusion of Catholicism and the Native American Church. The peyote bag would have held a personal chief peyote, but a peyote altar would have been used during peyote meetings.
