Fringed semi-tanned skin dress with beadwork designs / Unidentified

Curatorial Remarks

Apache women generally wear special hide dresses during their sunrise ceremony, but this dress may have been for every day wear. This dress may have been influenced by other plains tribes. The beaded star designs are characteristic of Southern Plains tribes.
