Silver ring with three turquoise stones / Native American; possibly Navajo (Diné)

Essay/Description

Ring band is composed of sheet silver partially sawn so that the sides could be opened and expanded to correspond to the size of the stacked stones. The band is not sawn in the center of the back. There are three bezel-set cabochon turquoise stones that share a sheet silver backing. The band is soldered to silver balls attached to sides of the sheet.
