Miniature leather tipi with painted designs / Unknown

Curatorial Remarks

This toy tipi may have belonged to a young girl. Toys were gender specific. Girls would have played with toy tipis or cradleboards, and boys played with war clubs and bows and arrows. Gender specific toys were used to teach children about adult roles.
