Gourd rattle with beaded wooden handle / Unknown

Curatorial Remarks

Gourd peyote rattle with beaded wooden handle. There is silver metal attached. The gourd looks to have been stained brown; this color is not normal for a gourd. The underneath side of the gourd has been painted black. The wood looks to be like ebony.
