Miniature feather prayer fan with hammer feathers and mescal beans / Unknown

Essay/Description

A tiny fan of four red hammer feathers decorated with dyed chicken hackles and sewn into white buckskin extensions. These four extensions are sewn together to form the handle. They continue on to form four fringes. Attached to each fringe is a mescal bean.

Possibly a hair tie, not prayer fan.
