Peyote fan of peacock feather attached by buckskin flange to beaded handle on buckskin over wooden dowel with lavender beads in lattice motif on light blue/gray ground with yellow and cranberry diagonal border at top and three rows of cranberry beads at the bottom. Fringed section of buckskin at the bottom.
Curatorial Remarks
All feathers have the same symbolic importance in the Native American Church, regardless of origin.
