Native American Church beaded wooden staff / Unknown

Essay/Description

Wood staff with deep groove on one side for 32 inches, ends at inner surface of V-shaped bottom design, base wider and flattened to form M-shape at upper part of V-shape. Beaded at the top, blue field bordered with single dark blue row, middle is zig-zag pattern of red, white, orange, white, red, with single dark blue bead at points, finished with red dyed horsehair. Staff is tapered at both ends.
