Osage wooden cradleboard with blue border around design perimeter and French brass tacks. Five-inch panel at top painted with yellow triangles converging in center with green borders and yellow circle with green arms (forming a pair of hour glass elements), all outlined with brass tacks and all on red ground. Pressed and painted mache doll is placed on cotton muslin pad and wrapped in cotton muslin and attached to board below painted panel/ Face is painted on mache doll in black with red mouth. Above doll's head, is a wooden visor attached to board which is wrapped in blue Stroud cloth with a quarter inch strip of loomed beadwork of red, yellow, and blue on a white ground with three red yarn tassels at each end. Ted yarn tassel at bottom on board at each corner. Four rows of five metal bells on leather thongs hand from the visor. Strip of loomed beadwork attached in center of painted panel which splits and is draped over and down the back to tie with braided yarn at bottom.
