Dark blue stroud cloth leggings trimmed along the bottom and sides with satin ribbon. “Diamond” ribbon designs.

Men in the Plains region sometimes wore leggings made of tanned skin to stay warm and protect their legs. Cloth was not introduced and used until later when wool and cotton became more accessible.
