Wooden arrow with blue feather attachments / Blas Placidio
Essay/Description
Fire hardened stun arrow. Has 3 rows of feather fletching with bright blue down attached with sinew. Has a red and a blue stripe.
Curatorial Remarks
The painted stripes on the arrow have meaning in relation to the ownership or the identity of the creator, but there is no record of the significance. The feather decoration on this arrow would have affected the performance of the arrow.
