Essay/Description

Child's brain-tanned buckskin dress with long, handcut fringe on sleeves, down sides, and across hem of dresswith extra fringe tabs on sleeves and dress hem where beading and cones also evident. Double bar beaded elements either side of neck opening with triple row lazy stitch band across yoke with floating box elements and pendant double thong fringe trimmed with glass tube beads below neckline. Similar narrow band at waist and running "mountain" beaded element with bead fringe across bottom. Beaded bar elements on either shoulder on back. Yellow ochre evident overall with traces of green and red..
