Essay/Description

Green bead fleur-de-lis foliate elements on either side of opening; beaded foliate border from shoulder to point of vest on either side, blue elements on verso with arched element on verso at yoke culminating in hearts with leaf element in center

Curatorial Remarks

This vest was probably worn in straight dance, but later this style would be more likely identified with powwows.
