Beaded leather moccasins with geometric designs.
Curatorial Remarks
Southern Plains style of the outlined beadwork on the foot of the moccasins (beadwork design is not completely filled in). These are from the 1930s or 1940s and most likely used during a ceremonial event or other formal events. These moccasins were made by an Arapaho artist, but could been worn by many other tribes.
