Vest with geometric design in blue, purple, green, pink, and yellow / Gloria Maude Cheshewalla
Essay/Description
The vest is made out of blue stroud wool with silk cutout designs of purple, pale green, cerise, and yellow. The lining is pink and purple.
Curatorial Remarks
It is not typical to see a vest worn with a straight dance outfit. Usually, a shirt was worn as part of the outfit. The designs on this outfit appear to be for a male because they are more geometric rather than curvilinear.
