Essay/Description

Child’s beaded leather moccasins with geometric designs.

Curatorial Remarks

Worn child's moccasins with beaded rear seams . The designs used are very similar to that of the Mescalero Apache. The beadwork around the edge of the moccasins do not reflect the Cheyenne style. Typically the Cheyenne will bead designs that look like mountains or tipis.
