Essay/Description

A - The otter drop has three large beaded medallions and has beads and purple and white ribbon along both sides. At the top is a lavender and white spotted satin cloth used to attach the drop.
B-C - The breech clothes are black with purple, blue, white and green striped ribbons on each side.
D - The trailer is black with beads and purple and white ribbon along both sides and three striped bands of purple, white, blue and green ribbon.
E-F - The pair of leggings are black with beads and purple, white, blue and green striped ribbon bands along one side.

Curatorial Remarks

Straight dance clothing includes a ribbon shirt (not featured in image) with neckerchief, leggings decorated with ribbon work, breechcloth, and an otter drop in the back decroated with ribbon and beadwork. This specific outfit was made as a set. All of the ribbon work is the same color and design.
