Essay/Description

Women's moccasins with commercially tanned leather soles. Decorated with beaded white rosette with integrated scalloped picot edge and diamond border designs.

Curatorial Remarks

Plain Osage women's leather moccasins. These appear to have been worn but not often. The sole is made from commercial leather, not rawhide. 1930-1940.
