Feathered headdress with quillwork and beadwork
Otter fur turban
Feathered headdress / Unknown
Curatorial Remarks
The pointed mountain like beadwork are indicative of Cheyenne style. The headdress appears to have a red cap or hat as the base with feathers attached and beads sewn into the red broadcloth. The yellow beads are greasy yellow beads. The red beads appear to be white hearts. This headdress was created during the reservation period.
